About the role
Actors to appear in app-based video lessons as language teachers delivering pre-written scripts to teach English to Mandarin speakers. Must be bilingual in Mandarin and English with neutral Mandarin accent, portraying a friendly professional rather than a traditional school-teacher.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for learners in video lessons
- Act out bilingual scripts that teach English to Mandarin speakers
- Answer scripted questions and interact with user responses within the lesson format
- Record and provide video teaching footage to be used in app-based lessons
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English with native-like proficiency and accent in both languages
- Delivery of English lines clearly and fluently for English speakers
- Neutral Mandarin accent suitable for global Mandarin speakers
- Ability to portray a professional in a non-educational industry with friendly vibe
- Recent self-recorded audition video submission as part of application requirements
