About the role

Core maintainer for the LangChain Python ecosystem, focused on maintaining and improving the LangChain Python package, contributing to core abstractions, documentation, and community support.

Responsibilities

  • Improving the core abstractions and runtime of the LangChain and LangGraph packages
  • Improving documentation across the LangChain ecosystem
  • Answering user questions and resolve issues from the community
  • Use LangChain to build example applications that demonstrate how to build production AI systems

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering or applied machine learning experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and view unstructured environments as opportunity to identify impactful work and define future success of the company
  • Ownership-minded approach to work with ability to manage your work efficiently and effectively without close supervision
