Staff Design Engineer - Canada
About the role
Senior-level design engineering role combining design and code to shape Ashby’s design system, UI/UX, and product features at scale for a remote Canada-based team.
Responsibilities
- Redesigned our mobile web app by talking with customers, wireframing flows, implementing its design system, and turning wireframes into a polished UI.
- Built flexible, composable components in our design system to enable other engineers to build consistent setup wizards across the product.
- Helped Product Engineers improve information hierarchy and scannability of design for viewing a candidate’s assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience designing products and shipping code to hundreds of users (internships not counted).
- Proficiency in both design and engineering disciplines with hands-on coding experience.
