Senior Software Engineer, Product Engineering - EU
About the role
Versatile product engineer role focused on end-to-end ownership of large product areas, shaping features from conception to deployment, with emphasis on collaboration, minimal process, and leverage through building blocks and AI-powered tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features across the stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure) including researching competitors, writing product specs, wireframing, and implementing solutions.
- Own a large portion of one product and drive projects from ideation to production.
- Develop automated scheduling, declarative filter architectures, and in-app signing/offers workflows as examples of current Ashby features.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers, vet decisions with stakeholders, and communicate progress clearly.
Qualifications
- Experience as a product engineer or similar role capable of owning projects end-to-end.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable with ambiguity and working across product/engineering/design boundaries.
