About the role

A strategic HR role supporting organizational agility, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategies to drive business performance in a fast-growing fintech startup in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to senior leaders, supporting organizational effectiveness through solutions aligned with the overall people strategy.
  • Advise and counsel leaders on HR challenges including performance, staffing, compensation, and organizational design.
  • Build and strengthen leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and represent HR at company events.
  • Champion growth mindset and change management practices.
  • Oversee headcount reporting and workforce budgets with Finance.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics for decision-making.
  • Provide coaching on performance management and succession planning.
  • Design workforce and resourcing strategies supporting business objectives.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and career development.
  • Support hiring, developing, and retaining senior talent.
  • Utilize people analytics to identify HR trends and provide insights.
  • Ensure data privacy and ethical use of HR data.
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and policy improvements.
  • Handle onboarding, career transitions, and life cycle events for employees.
  • Support restructuring processes with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • At least 3 years supporting senior leaders as an HRBP.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance in Southeast Asia.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Deep experience in talent management, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
