About the role

The role involves creating high-quality visual content, including planning, filming, editing, and collaborating with teams to develop engaging videos for BJAK's brand across various social media platforms, with a focus on innovation, trend awareness, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing creative concepts and visual approaches for BJAK’s video content.
  • Plan, storyboard, and execute video shoots for platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS).
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Produce a variety of video content, from corporate storytelling to social media videos.
  • Edit videos with attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual quality.
  • Perform color grading, sound design, basic motion graphics, and subtitling.
  • Ensure content consistency with BJAK’s brand identity.
  • Manage multiple editing timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams, incorporating feedback and collaborating with designers and copywriters.
  • Handle full production processes, including equipment setup, media management, and exporting.
  • Maintain organized archives of raw footage, project assets, and edited files.
  • Troubleshoot technical or equipment issues during shoots or editing.
  • Stay updated on video trends, social media formats, and best practices.
  • Experiment with new filming and editing techniques to improve engagement.
  • Suggest workflow improvements for faster, smoother production.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in videography and video editing (agency or in-house).
  • Strong portfolio or showreel showcasing a variety of video styles and storytelling approaches.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
  • Skilled in camera operations, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
