About the role

Responsible for managing and enhancing the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and supporting HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and managing salary structures and incentive schemes.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages.
  • Prepare salary reviews, recommendations, and reports for management approval.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including medical, insurance, retirement plans, leave, and allowances.
  • Liaise with benefits providers and resolve employee queries.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Support the development and communication of HR policies related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and EPF/SOCSO guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports for audits and management review.
  • Provide guidance to employees on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and related KPIs.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in Compensation & Benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, EPF/SOCSO, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in handling international/global compensation and benefits programs.
