Senior Director of Product Marketing
About the role
Lead the entire product marketing function at Rescale, focusing on go-to-market strategy, development of positioning and messaging, sales enablement, content creation, customer advocacy, competitive intelligence, and team development to drive market adoption and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Product Marketing Function: Define and implement the strategy, structure, and operating model for a high-performing product marketing team.
- Drive Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Lead product launches, define and execute go-to-market plans, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Develop Global Positioning and Messaging: Understand customer needs, translate complex capabilities into compelling value propositions, and localize messaging for specific markets.
- Develop Sales Enablement Content: Create presentations, training materials, battlecards, and objection handling documents to empower sales teams.
- Create High-Impact Content: Produce decks, one-pagers, case studies, whitepapers, and other collateral to differentiate Rescale.
- Customer Advocacy: Build relationships with key customers to serve as advocates and references.
- Drive Competitive and Market Intelligence: Analyze the landscape, understand differentiators, and maintain positioning frameworks.
- Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage, coach, and develop product marketing team members.
- Performance Monitoring & Measurement: Track KPIs including revenue and pipeline to optimize strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience
- Experience scaling product marketing at a fast-growing startup
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams across demand generation, brand, sales, partners, and product management/engineering
- Comfort with technical details and translating complex capabilities into stories
- Expertise in customer segmentation, positioning, packaging, and GTM strategy
- Proven track record of working closely with sales, product, marketing, and executive teams
- Data-driven with experience in customer interviews, win/loss analysis, sales feedback
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
- Deep customer curiosity and active listening skills
- Results-oriented, ownership-driven, and able to achieve results under ambiguity
- Experience with AI in workflow
- Analyst relations experience is a plus
