About the role

Quality Assurance professional focusing on risk operations to enhance operational excellence, processes, and systems within merchant risk/underwriting at Airwallex.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily quality assurance checks on risk operations work to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
  • Take ownership of risk domain QA programs, ensuring QA evaluations are completed with high productivity and precision
  • Deliver high-quality assessment results via monthly QA reports, identifying operational errors, procedural gaps, and system limitations
  • Analyze root causes of identified gaps and provide actionable solutions to address QA findings, closely monitoring the remediation process
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across different functions to improve operational quality, procedures, and systems
  • Proactively lead or support global projects and initiatives for quality uplift

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of risk management experience in payments, financial services, or related industries (e.g, underwriting, merchant risk monitoring, dispute handling)
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, brand risk, credit risk, fraud, and dispute management
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in process optimization
  • Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience is highly desirable
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate data and processes and propose practical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
