About the role

Freelance Translator/Linguist role on ElevenLabs' Productions team, delivering human-edited translations, localization, and linguistic quality for AI-assisted content at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Editing and refining AI-assisted translations for fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness
  • Localizing scripts for dubbing, voiceover, and multimedia content
  • Ensuring terminology consistency across projects and maintaining glossaries where needed
  • Collaborating with dubbing and audio teams to ensure translations perform well in spoken form
  • Competitive task-based compensation
  • Flexible workload and scheduling - claim and complete jobs directly on our platform

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in one or more supported languages
  • Proven experience in professional translation and/or localization
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuance and audience adaptation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time
