About the role

Staff Software Engineer leading the Device Management team to own end-to-end lifecycle of hardware management, spanning device logistics, procurement, and Buyback, with a focus on AI-driven automation, global expansion, and secure, scalable integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AI-First Automation: Build AI-driven workflows to predict and order hardware based on hiring profiles and automate inventory replenishment.
  • Architect Global Expansion: Lead technical strategy to scale fulfillment from 40 to 130 countries; design integration layer with third-party suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Master Complex Integrations: Build resilient systems to handle data discrepancies and maintain a pristine source of truth when dealing with third-party logistics.
  • Fullstack Product Ownership: Focus on backend architecture while delivering intuitive admin-facing interfaces for global fleet tracking.
  • Bridge Physical & Digital Security: Ensure devices ship with always-on encryption, antivirus, and compliance software.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer, preferably in a product-oriented environment with scalable complex systems.
  • Strong Backend development expertise (Python/Django preferred) with ability to contribute to Frontend (React) for end-to-end features.
  • Experience solving real-world data problems and building defensive, fault-tolerant systems for unreliable third-party APIs.
  • Product mindset with ability to consider user experience for Hiring Managers and IT Admins and suggest features proactively.
  • Bonus: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), supply chain logistics, or heavy third-party API integrations.
  • High ownership and ability to manage entire lifecycle of a project from discovery to deployment and maintenance.
