About the role

Technical Account Manager Architect role within ClickHouse's Support Services, focusing on consultative TAM activities, escalation management (L3), onboarding, and architectural guidance for strategic enterprise customers in APJ/Singapore regions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with strategic and enterprise ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects on onboarding, production launches, and POCs
  • Provide architectural, technical, and migration guidance and assistance
  • Lead projects, escalations, and meetings to enable ongoing user/customer success
  • Ownership and oversight of L3 Support Cases and Escalations, coordinating with L1/L2 support
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to develop roadmap and account plans
  • Be present and available according to onsite travel requirements to deliver 24x7 global support
  • Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members
  • Develop and assist with documentation, knowledge base articles, learning resources, reference architectures, and QA needs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Senior Support, and/or Project Management
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing/operating/supporting scalable, fault-tolerant distributed DBMS
  • Technical breadth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS, distributed systems, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, big data
  • Experience leading and shipping large-scale technical projects with engineers
  • Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS (e.g. EC2)
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and collaboration with Support Services, Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Teamwork, global engagement, empathy, and problem-solving mindset
  • Adventure, urgency in building scalable, high-performing databases
  • Self-driven, curious, eager to learn and grow
