Staff Product Engineer, UK
About the role
Staff Product Engineer role at Ashby, a YC-backed all-in-one recruiting platform. Full-time, remote (UK/GB) with focus on owning substantial product areas end-to-end, bridging product, design, and engineering to deliver high-impact features for Talent Acquisition software.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated interview scheduling feature end-to-end (frontend + backend).
- Develop a generalized declarative filter architecture that compiles UI-driven filters to SQL in the backend.
- Spec, design, and implement an in-app signing-off offers workflow integrated with other features.
- Take ownership over large portions of one product, including researching competitors, writing product specs, creating wireframes, and collaborating with design and other engineers.
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in engineering (full-stack).
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL (and related stack).
- Experience designing and delivering multi-part product features with product/UX involvement.
