About the role

Software Engineer II to build secure, scalable, multi-tenant services within Microsoft Security, contributing to resilient components, code quality, automation, and live services in Azure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with multiple teams to coordinate work and track progress toward shared goals
  • Participating in an on-call rotation to support service reliability
  • Partnering with stakeholders to develop technical solutions and automation (e.g., code, scripts)
  • Supporting live services operating in Azure’s air-gapped regions
  • Contributing to the buildout of new services as they are brought into scope

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Skills

Required:Programming in C/C++/C#/Java/JavaScript/PythonCollaboration
Nice to have:On-call experience
