About the role

Role at Coval combining product work and customer-facing technical problems to scale voice and chat AI agents. Embed with customer teams, build integrations, shape evaluation strategies, and influence the product roadmap while delivering code when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build bridges: integrations, connectors, and quality-of-life features that make Coval click for a specific customer or use case. Ship fast, validate whether it belongs in the core product, and move on.
  • Hunt for friction: work with customers to identify sharp edges and fix them or collaborate with engineering to eliminate them.
  • Shape the product roadmap: translate customer observations into product direction with prototypes and data.
  • Be a voice AI evaluation expert: develop evaluation strategies and bring knowledge back into the platform.
  • Work across API integrations, customer-facing builds, internal tooling, and evaluation strategy in Python and TypeScript.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript
  • Experience across APIs, integrations, and customer-facing technical problems
  • Comfortable working with customer needs and delivering impact
  • Ability to move fast while managing technical debt and experiments
  • Curiosity about voice AI and evaluation
