About the role

Senior Technical Customer Support Engineer role for ClickHouse in India (Remote), focusing on customer-facing technical support, incident triage, and collaboration with global teams to drive solutions for ClickHouse Cloud and open-source.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and guiding ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects via cases, chat, Slack, community, and meetings
  • Developing solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and ClickHouse open-source for documentation, knowledge base, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training
  • Working with global teams (Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, Product Management) to define user functionality
  • Mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers
  • Delivering excellent customer service as a first-line technical engineer within SLAs via ticketing, email, Slack, chat, and/or phone
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners

Qualifications

  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or Cloud, or related domains (SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, distributed systems, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Previous technical experience in roles such as Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer
  • Availability for 24x7 global support in a distributed environment
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work remotely with reliable connectivity
  • Teamwork, global engagement, empathy, and problem-solving mindset
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn and grow
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners
