About the role

Senior leadership role overseeing Implementation and Onboarding, focusing on strategy, scalable technical delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and team development within the post-sale SaaS space at 1Password.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop multi-layered technical onboarding teams, including succession planning and leadership development
  • Define engagement models, processes, and playbooks for technical deployment and onboarding
  • Ensure high-quality technical engagement across customer segments and align resources with customer needs
  • Act as senior escalation point for high impact or complex customer situations and drive cross-functional resolutions
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Support, Product and other leaders to deliver cohesive technical guidance and advocacy
  • Shape team strategy, execution standards, capacity planning, and cross-functional alignment to influence retention, expansion, and trust
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and working out loud to inform strategy and investment decisions
  • Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to executive audiences and stakeholders
  • Drive hiring, onboarding excellence, and long-term talent development within the team
  • Define success metrics and operating rhythms for technical deployment and onboarding teams
  • Troubleshoot integrations, APIs, and automation workflows as needed

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in post-sale SaaS roles (Implementation, Professional Services or Solutions Engineering)
  • 4+ years of people management experience (including managing managers or multiple technical functions)
  • Experience leading IC technical teams and specialized roles (e.g. Professional Services, TAMs)
  • Track record supporting customers in complex, security-focused environments
  • Experience implementing repeatable service delivery models
  • Experience influencing full customer lifecycle (handoff, onboarding, adoption, renewal, expansion)
  • Strong familiarity with security, identity, or IT administration domains preferred
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with 1Password or another password manager
