About the role

Executive partner to the CEO leading the CEO Office to drive governance, strategic initiatives, and culture during Joko's profitable scale-up and international growth, with a focus on architecture, systems, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Governance: own the rhythm and quality of top-level governance, board meetings, executive team meetings, All Hands, and related communications; act as animator and alignment driver for the leadership team.
  • Proactive projects: lead company-wide initiatives critical to the CEO and next chapter; manage cross-functional, high-stakes work.
  • Reactive missions: deploy Founder Associates as a strike force to address critical gaps without rushing hiring, with diminishing share as the company grows.
  • Culture: embody and lead by example to protect and propagate Joko's culture.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience combining Tier 1 strategy consulting (BCG, McKinsey, Bain, or equivalent) with operating experience in a high-growth tech startup or scale-up
  • Direct and substantive management experience with a proven ability to hire and retain great talent
  • Architectural thinking with ability to design multi-quarter operating models and fix processes
  • Analytical rigor with structured thinking, comfort with numbers, and board memo writing
  • Emotional intelligence and stakeholder management across CEO, SteerCo, Founder Associates, and all teams
  • Energy and presence; cultural carrier and representative of the CEO
  • AI fluency and demonstrated use of AI tools to reshape team operations
  • Efficiency: productivity tools proficiency, prioritization, and delivering on complex projects
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, feedback receptiveness, and continuous learning
  • Languages: Fluency in English
  • Location: Paris-based
  • Bonus: M&A, corporate development, and/or corporate finance exposure
