About the role
Social Media Intern position based in Easley, SC, focused on growing the personal brand and social media presence of the Head of Patient Care. Hands-on role in content creation, social strategy, filming, and brand building with mentorship from an experienced marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Film designated team member on a recurring basis using iPhone and professional camera equipment with high-quality audio; create various formats (talking-head, B-roll, behind-the-scenes, short-form vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts); ensure lighting, framing, audio, and composition; adapt filming styles to platform best practices
- Execute creative briefs and shot lists from marketing team; translate concepts into engaging video content; suggest hooks, trends, filming styles, and content ideas; stay current on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends
- On-set collaboration: build rapport with talent, guide talent during filming (positioning, pacing, delivery, retakes), assist with scheduling shoots, site preparation, equipment setup, maintain professional presence
- Footage management: deliver raw footage promptly; organize files by project, content type, and date
Qualifications
- Located in or near Easley, SC
- Current college student pursuing Marketing, Communications, Film, Media, or related field
- Comfortable filming with iPhone and professional camera equipment
- Familiarity with external microphones, lighting, and basic production setup
- Strong understanding of short-form content trends and social-first storytelling
- Reliable, organized, and able to maintain a recurring filming schedule
- Must have personal equipment suitable for content creation and remote work
