About the role

Product engineer role owning features end to end for Terra, Landeed's AI property intelligence platform. Ship, measure, iterate based on user feedback; work across stack on AI-native surfaces, verification products, and evaluation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end from customer problem to shipped product
  • Work across the stack (Frontend: React/React Native, Backend: Python/Node) to connect ML/data pipelines
  • Develop AI-native product surfaces (chat/search over property records, multilingual UX, handling model uncertainty)
  • Package AI-derived judgments into verifiable outcomes (verification packs, diligence reports, purchase flows)
  • Build evaluation suites to measure Terra's effectiveness and inform priorities
  • Prototype with AI coding tools, instrument shipped work, use usage data to decide on next steps

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years shipping consumer or B2B product as a full-stack or frontend-leaning engineer
  • Strong product instincts with user evidence-based decision making
  • Solid TypeScript/JavaScript and React; comfortable with Python or Node backend and relational databases
  • Experience building on LLM APIs or AI-powered features is a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience evaluating AI systems and defining test cases
  • Systems thinker with strong instrumentation and telemetry mindset
  • Attention to copy, edge cases, latency, and user trust in a trust-focused product
  • Comfort with ambiguity and multilingual users, and Indian government data
