About the role

Technical-focused senior talent partner to identify and build relationships with exceptional engineers, partnering with VP of Engineering to map talent landscape, expand networks, and create long-term sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify outstanding engineering talent for the team and build relationships beyond single roles
  • Partner with the VP of Engineering to define what exceptional looks like and map the talent landscape
  • Map companies, teams, and communities producing exceptional engineers and develop targeted outreach strategies
  • Expand Plasmidsaurus' reach into engineering communities, open source ecosystems, startup networks, and other places where builders spend time
  • Build relationships long before hiring needs exist through ongoing conversations, referrals, events, and communities
  • Create talent advantages that compound by building systems, workflows, talent maps, and sourcing approaches; use automation, AI, and creative research methods to improve outcomes and market understanding

Qualifications

  • Experience as a senior talent partner or recruiting leader in engineering-focused roles
  • Strong network in engineering communities and ecosystems
  • Ability to build long-term talent strategies and relationships
  • Experience with talent mapping and strategic sourcing
  • Comfort using automation and AI tools for research and sourcing
