About the role

Product Engineer to shape the user experience of Ampersand's platform, focusing on complex, developer-facing workflows and establishing design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Feature Development — Own the full loop: technical architecture, implementation, documentation, and customer communication. Primarily backend (Golang), with frontend work (React) when needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years engineering and designing digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, enterprise software, or technical products
  • Golang and React experience is a strong plus
  • AI-forward mindset and ability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity
  • Strong communication skills; ability to articulate design decisions and push back when needed
  • Great taste in developer tools that are intuitive; prior experience shipping customer-facing developer products is a plus
  • Strong product intuition and ability to work with customers to design features, not just implement specs
