About the role

Head of Talent Acquisition responsible for building and leading the TA function to grow the company from 100+ to 200+ employees within 18 months, shaping global AI recruitment strategy, international employer branding, and scalable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the TA team: hire recruiters (two TAMs already in place; four more TAM positions open), coach and develop the team.
  • Define how Joko recruits: inbound/outbound, RPO management, agency relationships, tooling (Ashby), and process standards; upskill hiring managers for consistent bar application.
  • Recruit senior and critical roles personally while delegating where appropriate.
  • Build a global AI strategy for recruiting: determine automation, tools, human judgment balance, and competitive sourcing/closing strategies.
  • Drive an international employer brand: develop and execute branding starting in France, expanding to Spain and the US.

Qualifications

  • Experience standing up or rebuilding a TA function with high standards
  • Coaching mindset to develop recruiters
  • High-bar mindset aligned with talent-dense culture
  • Ops-oriented and performance-driven with funnel instrumentation
  • Strong TA craft across inbound and outbound sourcing
  • Analytical skills with data-driven decision making
  • Attention to detail across touchpoints (outreach, scorecards, offers)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Curious and experimental about AI with hands-on TA AI deployment experience
  • International recruiting experience across geographies
  • Location based in Paris
  • Education: no specific requirement; track record matters
  • Languages: fluent in French and English; Spanish a plus
