About the role

Senior software engineer role in Snowflake's Product Security team, focused on building a world-class security experience for Snowflake engineers. Drive the next generation of tooling to develop and secure Snowflake’s flagship product, collaborate on quarterly/long-term roadmaps, and address AI security and security for AI-driven systems.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and evolve security infrastructure and tooling to be elastic, large-scale, and highly performant with simplicity at its core.
  • Collaborate with product managers to chart quarterly and long-term roadmaps for the team.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder to ensure the team delivers against current customer needs while anticipating future demands, including AI security.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of industry experience developing tools and backend services, preferably in the security space
  • Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
  • Fluency in at least one of Rust, Python, Golang, Java, C++, or .NET
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate well
  • Strategic mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal English language skills
