About the role

Senior Product Designer at Ivo in San Francisco responsible for guiding the vision, strategy, and execution of Ivo’s design system, managing a small team of designers, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to enable rapid, coherent design system adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and scale component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards
  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ivo’s design system
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure system adoption, alignment, and implementation quality of the design system
  • Develop workflows that improve designer and developer collaboration, such as Figma libraries, documentation, and quality checks
  • Shape internal best practices for design documentation, guidelines, and cross-team collaboration
  • Constantly raise the bar for design craft and execution

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product design
  • Experience building design systems for SaaS platforms
  • Deep expertise in Figma, component libraries, tokens, variants, and systematic file organization
  • Constantly learning and adapting to the rapid changes AI brings to UI/UX
  • A proclivity to adopting and experimenting intelligently with AI tools
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate system rationale and implementation guidance
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and high expectations for craft
  • A portfolio that demonstrates how you’ve shaped scalable design patterns, systematized complex UI challenges, and delivered cohesive experiences
