About the role

Senior Security Automation Engineer to build the underlying automation fabric for ClickHouse's Security organization, focusing on universal identity provisioning, security telemetry, and automated controls to scale security and maintain continuous compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Security Telemetry and Risk Fabric: translate control frameworks into layered implementations, engineer centralized security telemetry with real-time data streams, develop custom assurance logic for continuous audits, and create an agentic risk engine with risk management.
  • Architect Universal Identity and Access Automation: design universal provisioning connectors for systems lacking native IGA support, implement customer-approved access workflows, centralize security visibility, automate secret discovery and inventory, and de-provision ghost/long-lived identities.
  • Partner Across Security, Engineering and Product: collaborate with GRC, Finance, and Security to automate compliance with audit frameworks and remove manual provisioning workflows that create low-value administrative tickets.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on background in security automation and IAM/IGA.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language used for automation (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go).
  • Experience building scalable automation ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with compliance automation, continuous control monitoring, and extending GRC tools.
  • Understanding of risks related to change management, logical access, and data integrity.
