About the role
Senior Security Automation Engineer role at ClickHouse focused on building a centralized Security Automation capability, including a Universal Provisioning Engine and integration layers to support auditing, continuous compliance, and identity/workflow automation across product lines.
Responsibilities
- Build the Security Telemetry and Risk Fabric: translate control frameworks, engineering centralized telemetry, develop custom assurance logic, and partner with risk management to generate agentic risk assessments workflows.
- Architect Universal Identity and Access Automation: design universal provisioning connectors, customer-approved access workflows, centralized security visibility, automated secret discovery & inventory, and automatic de-provisioning to eliminate ghost accounts.
- Partner Across Security, Engineering and Product: collaborate with GRC, Finance, and Security to automate compliance and remove manual provisioning workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on background in security automation and identity engineering (IAM/IGA).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go).
- Experience building scalable and reliable automation ecosystems.
- Familiarity with compliance automation, continuous control monitoring, and extending GRC tools for various frameworks.
- Understanding of risks related to change management, logical access, and data integrity.
