About the role
Expression of Interest for Site Superintendent roles in major civil infrastructure and structural construction projects in the Middle East and UAE, focusing on supervising specialized civil/structural packages.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day execution of a dedicated civil or structural construction package
- Ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards
- Monitor construction progress and support timely delivery of assigned work packages
- Lead the execution of specialized civil and structural construction packages, including reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities
- Coordinate site activities to ensure construction is carried out in line with project requirements
- Identify and resolve field issues that may impact productivity or construction progress
- Supervise specialised subcontractors and ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and technical specifications
- Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and productivity
- Verify that construction activities meet approved quality standards and project milestones
- Coordinate work interfaces and handovers between adjacent construction packages
- Work closely with the General Site Superintendent to ensure efficient coordination across multiple construction disciplines
- Support smooth workflow transitions between project teams and specialised work packages
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
