About the role

Project Manager for piping and sewer infrastructure projects in the Antwerp region, combining project management, technical coordination, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Follow large projects around intake lines and sewers from A to Z.
  • Create a clear project plan including risk analysis, budget and timing.
  • Coordinate internal and external partners and manage them technically.
  • Support project managers as a technical point of contact for pipelines.
  • Ensure quality, safety, environmental aspects, and proper handover to the organization.
  • Prepare or review specifications in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Incorporate technical aspects in procurements and negotiations.
  • Evaluate technical choices, budgets and project progress.
  • Contribute to standardization within intake pipelines.
  • Participate in control and monitoring of sewer projects.
  • Identify improvement points and propose concrete improvements.
  • Report progress, risks, bottlenecks and improvement proposals.
  • Monitor timing, budget, risks and quality across project phases.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, preferably in engineering.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, water, sewer, pipelines, civil works or project engineering.
  • Strong combination of sewer experience with ambition to deepen knowledge in intake pipelines (or vice versa).
