About the role

Projects in industrial engineering from concept to implementation and aftercare, focused on future-oriented industrial water installations and sustainable solutions including water reuse and circularity. Emphasizes technical depth, project leadership, design and site supervision with accountability for timing, scope and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Projectleiding & Technische Engineering: manage industrial projects in civil, electromechanics and automation from concept to implementation and aftercare; design and optimize technical installations based on project objectives and guidelines from the project engineer; thorough project preparation and assessment of work plans, schedules and functional descriptions; monitor timing, scope and quality across project phases.
  • Bestekken & Technische Voorbereiding: prepare clear and complete specifications and technical descriptions for quotations; ensure technical documentation and project data are complete and accurate; provide high-quality progress and technical reporting.
  • Werfopvolging & Implementatie: supervise worksites and inspect suppliers and contractors for proper execution; oversee start-up and aftercare of installations; identify and resolve technical issues efficiently during execution and commissioning.
  • Optimalisatie & Technische Ondersteuning: formulate improvement proposals to optimize methods, systems and processes; provide technical support to designers and colleagues within Operations; actively participate in safety, risk management and proposals for HSE improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in a technical field (e.g., Electricity, Mechanical, Automation or Energy)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as designer or in a similar engineering role
  • Experience with long-running projects spanning months to years
