About the role

Account Manager within Microsoft Advertising focused on driving revenue and client satisfaction through strategic relationships and data-driven optimizations for the German market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan with Purpose Through Client Planning and partner with AEs and Specialist teams to develop and execute MSA account plans.
  • Learn client business drivers, events, and seasonality to identify optimization opportunities and develop sales plans for the client (growth in Search and incubation products, plus cross-Microsoft opportunities).
  • Influence Digital Marketing Managers, Directors, and Digital Buying Groups by sharing insights and product demonstrations to grow and optimize campaigns.
  • Optimize the existing book of business to meet sales targets, maintain sales hygiene, manage pipeline, opportunities, and revenue goals; use solution selling to identify Microsoft opportunities and coordinate resources for success.
  • Support the Account Executive in building a negotiation plan for smooth closing and timely renewals of contracts.
  • Maintain a positive approach during objections and negotiations; demonstrate expertise in MSA features and incentives, upsell and increase consumption of existing products, and replicate winning strategies across client types.

Qualifications

  • MBA degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field with 4+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field with 6+ years relevant experience OR 8+ years relevant experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
  • Fluency in German and English.
