About the role

Design Engineer focusing on the intersection of design and frontend engineering to ship production-ready, data-heavy enterprise interfaces with AI integration. Owns user-facing experiences from concept through production, collaborating across engineers, product, and design.

Responsibilities

  • Own the intersection of design and engineering, shipping final experiences from concept to production.
  • Design and build surfaces such as AI agent builder flows, operational dashboards with real-time case management, process analysis viewers, and integration setup wizards.
  • Own the quality of user-facing experiences from design concept through production implementation (look, feel, and build).
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, product, and other designers; participate in feedback cycles and iterations.
  • Design AI interaction patterns and iterate based on enterprise user learnings.

Qualifications

  • Design craft in data-heavy, enterprise interfaces with strong typography, spacing, color, hierarchy, and interaction design.
  • Frontend engineering with production-quality React code; understanding of component architecture, performance, accessibility, and building robust UIs.
  • Experience shipping end-to-end features from concept to production, including testing and holistic user experience considerations.
  • Product judgment to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals; ability to define first-iteration targets and future enhancements.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineers, product, and designers; receptive to feedback and critique.
  • Experience with AI interaction design where established UX patterns may not exist.
