About the role
Founding talent acquisition role at Conduct, responsible for defining and executing end-to-end recruiting across engineering, product, and GTM. Owns process from first outreach to offer letter, shaping employer branding and recruitment infrastructure to hire at pace while maintaining high quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle across engineering, product, and GTM: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, pipeline management, offers, and candidate comms
- Be the person candidates remember—run a fast, warm process that leaves a strong impression of Conduct
- Partner closely with hiring managers to sharpen role definitions and calibrate on what we're looking for
- Build the infrastructure: ATS setup, scorecards, sourcing playbooks, templates; create systems to hire at pace without compromising quality
- Manage multiple complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality or candidate experience
- Manage external partners where needed and know when to use them and when not to
- Shape how Conduct shows up as an employer: job specs, candidate messaging, and reputation in competitive talent markets
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on recruiting, ideally in fast-growing tech environments
- Strong technical recruiting chops (engineering-led company; closed software engineers, staff engineers, and product designers)
- Creative sourcing instincts (build pipelines, find passive candidates)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal, with technical candidates and senior stakeholders)
- Genuine point of view on talent; ability to run intake conversations to define the bar and hold the team accountable
