About the role
Senior People Operations leader responsible for benefits, systems, payroll and multi-state compliance through the PEO, people policy, and performance/merit cycles. Guides vendor management, HRIS evolution, and policy/benefit evolution while building scalable operations to support Atticus’ growth and mission.
Responsibilities
- upline the operational backbone of our People function: benefits, systems, payroll and multi-state compliance through our PEO, people policy, and our performance and merit cycles
- manage the spend, the vendors, and decisions to uplevel our function and employee experience — when and how we leave our PEO, how to replace our HRIS, how our policies and benefits should evolve
- decide what we automate and set the standard for how this work gets done
Qualifications
- 7+ years owning significant pieces of People Operations at a venture-backed Series C-D+ tech company, including benefits, systems, performance, compliance and policy
- experience presenting benefits analysis and handling leave conversations with tact and clarity
- ownership of HRIS systems end-to-end and experience implementing a new one, plus managing vendors/partners
- partnership with senior leaders on performance and merit cycles, able to run a cross-functional group including more senior staff
- low ego but high ownership; comfortable doing the work and directing it
- ability to operate in gray areas with good judgment and care when rules aren’t obvious
