About the role

Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with customers to understand their problems and design and implement integrations between customer data and Rilla's conversational intelligence, owning end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to understand problems and design/implement solutions integrating their data with Rilla's platform
  • Apply problem solving, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive impact
  • Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams or solo
  • Discuss data models and workflows with customer executives
  • Wrangle massive-scale data, hack integrations or full-stack features
  • Bring insights back to the team and extend Rilla’s footprint into new markets and problem spaces

Qualifications

  • Strong coding skills with proficiency in Javascript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and related tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to iterate quickly with teammates
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites
