About the role

We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents. We’re the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer. This role owns the employee technology experience in London and supports global IT operations, with emphasis on in-person collaboration and building tooling, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the employee and office IT experience – provide responsive support across devices, applications, access, conferencing, and workplace technology; manage office technology reliability, networks, conferencing, vendor coordination, and asset lifecycle.
  • Own the improvements needed to support rapid regional growth, partnering with the global IT team on office expansions, moves, infrastructure changes, operational handoffs, runbooks, skills, and knowledge bases.
  • Operate identity, endpoints, and collaboration platforms – administer identity and access across Okta and core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, Microsoft 365); establish repeatable standards and automation for lifecycle, provisioning, access reviews; administer MDM/endpoint security platforms (Kandji, Jamf, Intune).
  • Build automation and internal tooling – develop scripts/integrations/tooling in TypeScript/Python; connect systems via APIs; build/operate infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for IT systems; introduce monitoring and observability.
  • Advance AI-native IT operations – develop use of Console.ai and AI-enabled ITSM; continuously improve self-service, automation, and resolution quality; act as customer zero for Devin and build secure integrations and guardrails for AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, technical support, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience delivering high-quality, hands-on IT support in an onsite environment.
  • Broad familiarity with modern workplace IT and meaningful depth in at least two disciplines (e.g., IAM with Terraform and CI/CD; endpoint or network engineering with automation; software integrations with hands-on employee support).
  • Experience administering identity, SaaS, or collaboration platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, Microsoft 365).
  • Ability to write/maintain scripts or integrations in TypeScript, Python, or another modern language (or equivalent infra-as-code depth for systems like Okta).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wired/wireless networks) and systematic troubleshooting.
  • Strong judgment, communication, and organization with ability to carry ambiguous problems through implementation.
