About the role

Semi-technical generalist role focused on integrations between internal systems and customer data. You’ll work with engineers to spec, test, and ship product improvements, handling edge cases and real customer data. In-person in San Francisco, reporting to Product Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Become a deep expert on every system we integrate with — ERPs, field tools, accounting platforms
  • Investigate edge cases and unexpected behaviors in integrations through structured debugging
  • Write precise, engineer-ready specs for new features, improvements, and bug fixes
  • Own the full lifecycle of features from discovery through QA and rollout
  • Design and execute thorough test plans before features ship
  • Catch edge cases that engineers and customers would miss
  • Document rollout steps and own post-launch monitoring
  • Synthesize feedback from customer calls, support tickets, and onboarding observations
  • Translate product pain points into actionable specs
  • Partner with the AM/onboarding team to identify friction points and prioritize fixes
  • Build internal documentation for integration behaviors, edge cases, and configurations
  • Create and maintain testing frameworks that scale with product growth
  • Identify and improve gaps in product development process

Qualifications

  • Hands-on: full-time builder, not a manager; ability to operate in the weeds and deliver execution-focused work
  • Semi-technical: experience with APIs, databases, SQL, Postman, or eagerness to learn
  • Meticulous attention to detail; structured thinker who tests work thoroughly
  • In-person: willingness to work in SF 5 days per week
