About the role

Senior Software Engineering Manager role in the HR Products organization owning Employment Products, with global expansion focus. Combines technical leadership, product development, and people management to build scalable, extensible solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the development of scalable, end-to-end employment-related products and features.
  • Define and deliver roadmaps and milestones for the Employment Products line, with a focus on Global Expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across India and globally.
  • Mentor and lead engineering teams, guiding developers and architects in design and delivery.
  • Review and guide technical architecture while remaining hands-on when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with distributed teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Total experience 8–15 years (IC + Managerial).
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role and prior 7–8 years as an Individual Contributor.
  • Strong product-building mindset and ownership mentality.
  • Hands-on experience building scalable products end-to-end.
  • Experience defining roadmaps, milestones, and delivering outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially with distributed teams.
