About the role

Microsoft Cloud Supply Chain Organization (CSCP) focuses on enabling hardware infrastructure and AI capabilities at scale. CSCP’s Cloud Sourcing, Spares, Security and Sustainability (CS4) manages sourcing, strategy and suppliers to deliver cost-effective, resilient supply chains and lifecycle support for Microsoft's cloud services and datacenters.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis, synthesize findings, develop recommendations to drive supply chain strategies.
  • Topics ranging from industry intelligence and benchmarking, mid to long-term operations/supply chain optimization, to firefighting and resolving short-term supply chain and sourcing challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive implementation of strategic projects: from defining plan, monitoring progress, tracking KPI to delivering results and institutionalizing.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing and Engineering teams to ensure supply chain resiliency is built-in at product launch, with diversified supply base and geography.
  • Lead communications with exec and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, ensure execution and report progress.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams on supply chain and sourcing related initiatives, e.g., sustainability, government policy.
  • Serve as trusted advisor and support other Supply Chain and Sourcing teams on fact-based analysis and communication material development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
