About the role

Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) helps customers with industry-specific, AI-enabled solutions that leverage Microsoft Cloud and AI across the digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborates with internal stakeholders in the pre-sale process to shape deals, supports drafting proposals/SOW, and provides input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery.
  • Technical Delivery: Follows RICC processes, maintains up-to-date skills and availability, leads customer/partner meetings to map requirements to Microsoft technology solutions, develops project documents, identifies risks and dependencies, communicates business value, prepares for steering committees, generates Work Breakdown Structure, implements solutions and provides oversight across domains, manages escalations and resources, engages stakeholders as needed.
  • Intellectual Property Management: Acts as an ambassador for IP consumption, provides feedback on Managed IP, logs IP for harvesting and curation, improves Industry Solutions offerings.
  • Business Development: Identifies opportunities to expand adoption of cloud and Microsoft technologies, articulates value propositions, drives innovation and digital transformation, leverages existing IP.
  • Readiness: Learns new technologies, obtains relevant accreditations, leads or participates in technical communities, mentors team members, and acts as a technical advisor.
  • Operational Excellence: Completes tasks with timeliness and accuracy, follows Microsoft policies and procedures, leads by example on compliance and readiness.
  • Other: Embodies Microsoft culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
  • Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
  • Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
