About the role
GTM Engineer to design, build, and ship AI and automation for ClickHouse's go-to-market motion, improving scalability and efficiency across the customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship AI and automation across the GTM motion: prospecting and enrichment, lead routing and activation, outbound and follow-up, deal and technical sales support, and expansion and retention signals.
- Build agents and workflows that run reliably at scale and take repetitive work offSales, Solutions Architecture, and Marketing.
- Instrument the customer lifecycle by connecting GTM systems and data so usage and telemetry signals flow to the right place and trigger the right action automatically.
- Partner with the field to identify where AI and automation create real gains and turn opportunities into usable systems.
- Own what you build end-to-end: design, deploy, measure impact, and iterate; establish evals and monitoring for reliable AI output in production.
- Set standards and guardrails for AI in GTM: data quality, prompt/eval discipline, human review where needed, and safety controls for automated actions.
- Track the AI and automation tooling landscape and integrate best practices into ClickHouse GTM.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building automation and tooling in a GTM, RevOps, or growth engineering context with production systems.
- Production experience with the GTM stack: Salesforce, Gong and Gong Engage, Vercel, Clay, n8n, enrichment providers, and both transactional and analytical databases (Postgres and ClickHouse).
- Shipped and operated these in production at real scale.
- Hands-on development in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Fluency with modern AI tooling: LLM APIs, agent/orchestration frameworks, prompting, evals, and retrieval with embeddings and vector search; experience with observability tools like Langfuse.
- Strong data-activation skills: SQL, APIs, dbt, and moving data between warehouses and GTM stack.
- Builder mindset: ownership from idea to working system and measurable impact.
- Owner-operator mindset: full ownership of systems including operation and iteration.
- Judgment on when to automate vs human-in-the-loop vs no automation.
- Familiarity with usage-based/ consumption-based business models a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to partner across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required; master's a plus.
