About the role

Founding role to build Mercura’s Talent & People function from the ground up. Lead end-to-end hiring, shape onboarding and development, and establish scalable people processes as Mercura scales toward $10M ARR by end of 2026 in a high-growth AI startup.

Responsibilities

  • Build & own the full hiring engine: Lead recruiting end-to-end across all teams, from role definition and sourcing to closing exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in Talent, Performance, or org development in a high-growth environment such as a top startup or scaleup.
  • Very high bar for great people; you know what excellence looks like.
  • Structured thinking and raw execution speed.
  • Strong storytelling and relationship-building skills.
  • Daily use of AI tools and curiosity to experiment with new workflows.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
