About the role

Product Designer to shape the developer-facing experience across LangChain’s core product surfaces, with a focus on reducing friction for developers building and deploying AI agents. On-site in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain's products through interviews and feedback sessions so design decisions are grounded in real behavior and address user needs
  • Own the full design arc on your features — from early concepts to polished, shipped work
  • Work across a range of product areas and design initiatives as priorities shift
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to ship new features quickly

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fullstack product design experience ideally working on developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS products
  • Sharp eye for detail, with a strong foundation across user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craft
  • A track record of solving hard interaction design problems, particularly around dense technical data
  • Data-driven decision making - you are comfortable driving user research, both with internal stakeholders and external customers, and using what you learn to inform your designs
  • You take initiative and ownership of tasks end-to-end
  • Strong technical acumen - you collaborate effectively with engineers to design things that are both well-crafted and feasible
  • Start-up DNA - you thrive in fast-paced, highly dynamic environments
