About the role

Role focused on leading full-cycle client engagements in Japan, acting as the face of Rogo to Japanese financial institutions, and translating AI capabilities into measurable financial impact for banking and investing use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle client engagements with top financial institutions in Japan and tailor demos to resonate with investors and deal teams.
  • Drive the financial win by translating Rogo’s capabilities into real impact across banking and investing use cases.
  • Be the face of Rogo to Japan’s leading financial institutions, managing day-to-day relationships and guiding deployment.
  • Engage with bankers/investors to understand workflow challenges and demonstrate the value of Rogo’s AI solutions.
  • Establish credibility in solving customer problems (e.g., public company financial research, M&A advisory, diligence workflows).
  • Lead product demonstrations and training sessions in Japanese, tailored to various financial firms’ contexts.
  • Partner with marketing to develop content tailored to bankers’ needs and client types.
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer to inform sales strategies and provide feedback to product teams.
  • Tailor introductions of new solutions to customer needs and improve market perception of Rogo.
  • Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of front-office experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, consulting firm, or hedge fund, ideally in Japan
  • Native or business-level Japanese (spoken and written) and professional English
  • Executive engagement skills and presence with ability to build credibility with decision-makers
  • Outstanding presentation skills (whiteboard, presentations, demos)
  • Hands-on fluency with AI and experience using LLMs in financial work
  • Sales or LP-facing experience including business development and/or managing banking client matters and client relationships
