About the role
Senior Software Engineer on the Audit and Reporting team responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance C# .NET microservices, deployed on Kubernetes in Azure, with a focus on secure audit data capture, storage, and reporting. Hybrid role based in Mexico City, working Tue–Thu in-office.
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship secure, high-performance microservices in C# .NET that power the Audit and Reporting services.
- Help ensure the Audit service reliably captures, stores, and surfaces audit events across the platform, supporting customers' security, compliance, and visibility needs.
- Build and improve reporting capabilities that turn raw audit data into insights customers can act on.
- Get hands-on with SQL and NoSQL data stores (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) and, increasingly, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), as the team modernizes how high-volume audit data is stored and queried.
- Own CI/CD pipelines that make deployments fast, automated, and boringly reliable, using Azure DevOps.
- Bring rigor and curiosity to code and design reviews, championing performance, data integrity, and maintainability.
- Dig into production issues using observability tools like Datadog and turn what you find into sharper root cause analyses and post-incident reviews.
- Team up with product managers and architects to help shape where the Audit and Reporting roadmap goes next.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C# .NET and microservices architectures.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB); willingness to learn Azure Data Explorer (ADX) if not already familiar with it.
- Working familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms, Azure preferred.
- Comfort with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Solid understanding of data integrity, security, and performance considerations in distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
