About the role

Lead the platform layer powering Rippling AI experiences, focusing on frameworks, orchestration, routing, and economics to enable autonomous, scalable AI-assisted back-office workflows across Rippling’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI experiences roadmap related to the most customer-facing surfaces, including maturing chat on web/mobile, building the desktop app, and exploring new surfaces.
  • Make it trivially easy for any Rippling product team to ship consistent AI experiences by partnering with 10+ product teams and developing standard AI design patterns across the platform.
  • Work closely with the embedded AI growth team to identify the highest-value experiences to grow AI discovery and usage across all Rippling products.
  • Define the user experience for how humans and Rippling AI collaborate to get work done, including human-in-the-loop handoff points, agent auditability, and customer-defined agent configuration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in product management, with at least 2 years shipping LLM-powered or conversational AI products to production, at scale.
  • Exceptional design judgement with a strong focus on end-to-end UX flows.
  • Strong opinions on cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs in AI systems; experience managing the economics of inference at scale.
  • Customer-facing B2B SaaS experience and deep understanding of enterprise buyers versus end users.
  • Track record of building platform-level tooling that other teams adopt; ability to design good abstractions and reduce adoption friction.
  • Bias towards action and full ownership of product success; ability to identify beta customers, write evaluations, and create prototypes/mocks to align teams quickly.
