About the role

Microsoft Erada Internship for Qatari Nationals offering a paid six-month training program (Phase 1 onboarding & skilling; Phase 2 on-the-job training) with mentorship, certifications, and hands-on experience in cloud architecture, AI/ML, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Applies foundational technical knowledge of an architecture solution to meet business and IT requirements and resolve identified technical constraints.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC)/partner by identifying and sharing feedback around technical capabilities, gaps, blockers, and insights with internal teams.
  • Solicits input from others to contribute to proposals for viable solutions based on specific technical products; demonstrates basic technical concepts and validates design solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner.
  • Supports research projects and contributes to scoping surveys for customers/partners to assess potential IP needs or process changes.
  • Participates in external architect community events and shares learnings with the internal team.
  • Participates in discussions around architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment and increased customer business value; ensures customer environments are well-architected.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing/completed a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Qatari nationality.
  • Legally authorized to work in Qatar.
  • Fluency in English.
