About the role

Customer-facing Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) focusing on Azure and Microsoft 365 security, driving security transformation and adoption across Enterprise, SMB, Regulated Industries, and One Commercial Partner groups in the United States. Specializes in Cloud Security, Threat Protection, or Identity and Access Management (IDAM). Role includes architecture, implementation, and operational health for security-focused solutions and ensuring secure by design / well-architected outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Land an end-to-end value prop for Security (i.e. Zero Trust) spanning Microsoft Security offerings.
  • Empower customers in their Microsoft Security adoption journey, defining a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of security controls aligned with Azure and M365 E5 Security Services including IAM, Threat Protection, Cloud Security, Information Protection.
  • Perform hands-on activities evaluating native security solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Active Directory).
  • Accelerate Azure adoption by improving security posture and ensuring Secure by Design/Well-Architected outcomes (performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, reliability).
  • Run Architectural Design Sessions to produce a production-ready plan and obtain consensus on solution design and next steps.
  • Act as Voice of Customer to share insights with Global Security, Engineering, and Product teams to unblock and influence roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to prove value of security technologies.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and stakeholders on complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions using Microsoft Security platform.
  • Orchestrate technical resources to deliver business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate and embody Microsoft culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
