About the role

Digital Cloud Solution Architect driving customer success and technical outcomes through pre-sales, architecture design, pilots, and demonstrations. Customer-facing role focusing on Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions, collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to accelerate adoption and maximize value.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to pilots and proof of concepts for technical solutions to prove the proposed architecture design.
  • Supports customer/partner projects as a subject matter in a specific architecture solution and throughout pre-sales and/or implementation.
  • Applies methodology and governance, as directed, to minimize business and/or technical risks and adhere to quality assurance whilst contributing to design and/or delivery of solutions.
  • Identifies technical blockers for selected products to accelerate architecture implementations, and routes non-technical issues for removal by appropriate party.
  • Proposes viable solutions based on specific technical products. Demonstrates complex concepts and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner.
  • Executes according to rhythm of business, identifies opportunities for optimization, and drives success of Microsoft cloud solutions by orchestrating milestones within engagements.
  • Identifies new workloads through understanding of financial value to customer and collaborates with sales/partners to drive engagements; articulates design and technical planning and customer gains/liabilities.
  • Builds aligned customer timelines with sponsors to establish concrete success measures around people, process, and technology; identifies customer financial priorities.
  • Voices customer feedback and blockers to appropriate communities for prioritization.
  • Engages with customer technical decision makers to anticipate needs, support digital transformation, and position architectures.
  • Keeps up to date with customer information, industry trends, and compliance.
  • Leverages internal resources to overcome technical blockers on assigned technology set.
  • Ensures technical wins for core technologies by driving technical discussions and improving customer interactions.
  • Shares competitive insights and collaborates with partners to promote usage of Microsoft solutions.
  • Engages in partner sell-with scenarios and demonstrates solution assets (e.g., Architecture Design Sessions, PoCs).
  • Reviews partner demonstrations and provides feedback to align with Microsoft standards.
  • Participates in readiness and skilling programs; supports training events for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 1+ year(s) experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR 3+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR 5+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.
