About the role

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) EPC team delivers core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud. Role located on-site at one of the Data Center Campuses in La Porte, IN or Atlanta, GA; relocation assistance offered.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain teams (Planning & Analytics, Supplier Quality, Site Projects) to meet on-time delivery for large, complex capital projects
  • Drive strategy development and compliance through supplier selection, award, and contract management
  • Manage Supplier labor in coordination with General Contractor, Scheduling Teams, and Internal Planning Teams to align schedules and deliverables
  • Manage schedule compliance and escalations from field team to support installation and CX activities to drive efficiencies between Supplier and General Contractor
  • Negotiate and manage change orders for overtime, schedule compression and acceleration
  • Lead Change Order processes after CDEs & Tech Submittals; monitor and mitigate impact; attend cost/change management meetings; ensure timely execution of changer orders; act as commercial SME and justify entitlements
  • Facilitate MEP/OFCI equipment delivery, inspections, sign-offs, address quality issues, align design changes post IFC, coordinate design information, specifications, compliance documents and submittals
  • Manage post-award site delivery scheduling, on-time delivery performance and reporting; communicate scheduling delays; oversee LLE performance; manage technical risk (SLA/KPI) to avoid site disruption
  • Act as liaison between supplier, EOR, AE, engineering and supply chain teams for complex post-award design alignment

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field with 3+ years in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, or operations
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field with 4+ years in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, or operations
  • OR equivalent experience
